Global Handprints gives you the opportunity to leave your mark on the world through volunteer placements or by supporting the fundraising.

Global Handprints’ mission is to inspire people to recognise their potential, empower them to achieve it and to evolve locally established projects and services to meet the needs of their communities.

Through volunteers and donations Global Handprints is enabling projects and communities around the world to evolve and develop.

Global Handprints currently operates as a non profit organisation ensuring all funds raised go straight to the projects, however we are now in the process of registering as a charity.

"Education is mega important, not to mention that the main reason that a lot of the children come into school is that they know they will get a decent meal at lunch, possibly their only one of the day"

Sam, volunteer in Mukono, December 2010.

"The people are so so friendly and walking everywhere you can hear children cry "mzungu" which means white person they all wave and smile and are so pleased when you wave and smile back! We forget that we obviously look so different so it does take a while to get used to being stared at!"

Lisa, volunteer in Mukono, November 2010
